Pitchers and Catchers are reporting soon and that means one thing, Baseball is back! every year people bet on who they think will win the World Series, but it’s really a crapshoot. As usual, the Yankees, Red Sox, and Phillies are the unanymous favorites bescuse they have the highest payrolls, which means they have the most talent. However, in Major League Baseball, it’s all about who has the hottest pitchers come October. The odds to win the 2012 World Series are dominated by these big three teams, but there are some sleepers. The Angels made a big splash in free agency bringing in Albert Pujols and CJ Wilson, the Detroit Tigers are always dangerous with their ace Justin Verlander, and the San Francisco Giants with a healthy Buster Posey and their pitching duo of Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain can win it again. You also can’t rule out the Tampa Bay Rays with their never ending supply of young pitchers. Here are the odds to win the 2012 World Series.
