LSU Mississippi State Betting Odds

September 15, 2011 Posted by admin

BetOnline.com

Tonight is a huge early season SEC matchup of LSU and Mississippi State. LSU is coming off a 40-27 win over Oregon State and enters tonight’s game ranked third in the country. LSU star Quarterback Jordan Jefferson, along with other key players continue their suspension for their part in a bar brawl. Backup Quarterback Jarrett Lee played the entire first half for LSU and completed 9-of-10 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown. Mississippi State is coming off a heartbreaking loss to defending champ Auburn in which they blew a lead. The LSU Tigers are favored by 3.5 and the over/under is 50.

A Big Sunday For Betting On The NFL

September 11, 2011 Posted by admin

If you read this blog yesterday and took my advice on Alabama and Stanford then you woke up today with a fatter wallet. Today is the first Sunday of NFL football and one of the biggest sports betting days of the year. This week I like the New York Giants, despite their injuries, to take care of business on this emotional 9-11 10 year anniversary. The Giants are favored by 3 over the Washington Redskins. Tomorrow I expect Tom Brady to come out with guns blazing and lead the Patriots to an easy victory over the Miami Dolphins. The Patriots are favored by 7. So there you have it, the Giants and Patriots are my Week 1 NFL picks.

College Football Week 2

September 10, 2011 Posted by admin

College Football is in full swing heading into week 2. As the country prepares for the 10th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11th, College Football stadiums around the country will commemorate the day with emotional ceremonies and guest appearances. Among the big games is Notre Dame taking on their heated rival Michigan at the big house in Ann Arbor. The Fighting Irish are a 3.5 point favorite and the over/under is 55.5. Another big game is Alabama traveling to Happy Valley to take on Penn St. Alabama is a 10 point favorite and the over/under is 42 in this rematch from last season which Alabama won big. This week I like Alabama to cover the 10 and Stanford, led by Andrew Luck to cover their 20.5 spread against Duke. For complete odds please click one of the banners to the right.

NFL Kicks Off Tonight!

September 8, 2011 Posted by admin

After a long offseason which was dominated by news of the lockout, the NFL is back and kicks off tonight. Tonight we get to see the last two Super Bowl Champions, the Packers and Saints. Even more important, betting on the NFL is back and I will break down the latest odds for Packers Saints. The Packers are favored by 4.5 and the over/under is 47.5. The Packers were the hottest team in the NFL last year and I expect Quarterback Aaron Rodgers to continue his unbelievable run. The Packers could be even better as they get Running Back Ryan Grant back from injury. They also return top cover corner Charles Woodson and the best pass rusher in the NFL in Clay Matthews. Matthews should cause havoc for the New Orleans Saints offense tonight. Here are more odds.

Saints to win by 1-3 Pts +400
Saints to win by 4-6 Pts +500
Saints to win by 7-10 Pts +700
Saints to win by 11-13 Pts +800
Saints to win by 14-17 Pts +1000
Saints to win by 18-21 Pts +1500

Packers to win by 4-6 Pts +300
Packers to win by 7-10 Pts +500
Packers to win by 11-13 Pts +650
Packers to win by 14-17 Pts +800
Packers to win by 18-21 Pts +1200
Packers to win by 22 or more +800
